Intrahepatic Stone

Abstract
|

|
The authers experienced a case of primary inrahepatic stone where no stones were found in entire extrahepatic biliary tree.
The large stone(3 x 3 x 3.5 cm) removed via hepatotomy, the biliary fistula of the liver was drained, it discharged bile for 8 weeks and then closed.
Three months later the patient was well. Chemical analysis showed stones to consist mainely of bilirubip.
